How do I get my first Lumo card?
Sign up with your email, complete a 2-minute identity verification (KYC), top up your wallet with any supported crypto, then go to Cards → Issue Card. Your virtual card is ready instantly.
How long does KYC verification take?
Most verifications complete in under 2 minutes automatically. If your submission is flagged for manual review, it takes up to 4 hours. You'll receive an email notification either way.
Which documents are accepted for KYC?
We accept passports, national ID cards, and driver's licenses from supported countries. The document must be valid (not expired) and clearly legible in the photo.
How do I add my Lumo card to Apple Pay?
Open the Wallet app → tap + → Debit or Credit Card → scan or enter your Lumo card details → verify with the SMS code sent to your phone. Takes about 30 seconds.
Which cryptocurrencies can I deposit?
USDT (ERC-20, TRC-20, BEP-20), BTC, ETH, and USDC (ERC-20, Polygon, Arbitrum). More assets are coming soon.
What is the FX conversion fee?
Standard: 1.5% · Premium: 0.5% · Metal: 0%. The conversion happens at the time of each purchase, using the live market rate with no additional markup.
How do I freeze my card if it's lost?
Go to Cards in your dashboard, select the card, and tap Freeze. The card is blocked in under 200ms. You can unfreeze at any time, or request a replacement from the same screen.
Is my crypto safe with Lumo?
95% of funds are held in offline cold storage with multi-sig authorization. We carry $10M in custodial insurance. Lumo has had $0 in user losses to security incidents since launch.
Can I have both a virtual and physical card?
Yes. You can hold up to 5 active cards on one account — any combination of virtual and physical. Each card has independent spending limits and freeze controls.
