1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a Lumo account or using any Lumo service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Lumo. We may update these terms periodically; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of a supported country to use Lumo. By using our service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
3. Account and KYC
You must complete identity verification (KYC) to issue a card or access full account features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Lumo for any unlawful purpose, to fund activities prohibited by applicable law, to circumvent sanctions or AML regulations, or to engage in fraud or deception. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Fees and conversions
Current fees are published on our pricing page. Crypto-to-fiat conversions occur at the time of each transaction at the prevailing market rate. Lumo does not guarantee any specific exchange rate. Fees may change with 30 days' notice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including losses due to market volatility, unauthorized account access, or service interruptions.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable EU regulations. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
